Workspace Wednesdays

I'm a late comer as usual :) I just can't seem to get myself up in time in the mornings to take a picture.

So here's what I'm working on today:
It's scarf from this pattern: http://cheekyfantail.com/blog/?p=324.  I thought it was such a pretty pattern, and when I saw this self striping yarn at Hobby Lobby (I love this yarn "Jazz Stripe") I thought it would look awesome with the pattern.  Maybe I'll try a slouch hat next...

Here's a page in a Moley for a friend.  Her theme was cats in history.  I read on wikipedia that in the UK, cats were considered good luck to a sailor's wife; a black cat helps ensure the husband's safe return.  So I did this page.  It always seems if I'm waiting - waiting for graduation...waiting for a job offer...waiting to start my family...so a waiting wife was the a picture I could easily visualize in my head. I hope she likes it.

Peace and love, y'all!  Thanks for stopping by.  If you'd like to play along on What's on Your Workspace Wednesday, head on over to Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/.  :)

Love the colours of the scarf, sadly I cant crochet anymore because of a thumb operation. Yes we do have a spare bedroom at the holiday unit that you can have LOL. Its quite a spacious unit.

Running late as usual….sorry!

Oh Katie, I love the colours in that wool, so vibrant and bright, I bet your scarf is going to look gorgeous when it’s finished.

I’m sure your friend is going to love the picture with the little Black cat. My little Black (white and Ginger) puddy, BoJangles is sitting right here beside me while I type.

Thanks for stopping by this week.
Happy Crafting!

Great post on your blog - the paintings are fab! If your large painting isn't quite what you'd put on the wall, then definitely chop it up and use it for serendipity squares or backgrounds...

Sorry it's taken me so long to get to you this week. Thanks for stopping by!
