WOYWW - Acorns, Totoro, Chinchilla

Happy WOYWW!  Thanks to Julia for hosting!  http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

So here's my desk!  It has watercolor paper that I had fun with the new iridescent inks.  No idea what I'll do with them yet.  Maybe cut them up and make ATCs.  Then we have some acorns and dogwood seeds.  I'm hoping to use those as a subject for a still life painting.  Then...maybe I can get the dogwood seeds to sprout! I could use an oak tree too... My yard is rather devoid of trees. Anyway...back to my workspace.  The picture on the right is from my sister in law.  She did a great job drawing my chinchilla (Chimichanga) in his Totoro dust bath thingy.  I also have some new brushes on my desk.

NON-WOYWW babbling
Over the weekend I got to go back to Arkansas to visit my grandpa and all of my family (on that side) and my in-laws.   I have the most awesome family and in-laws.  I love them so much.  What a blessing to have such a great family!

Peace and Love, y'all!

"It's behind you!" Yep, that is so my room. Glad I could provide you with a laugh :) Love your watercolour paper play, and the acorns are just too sweet. DD loves Studio Ghibli anime and "My Neighbor Totoro" but no idea what a totoro dust bath is!

I have never see acorns before they are just amazing and they are green, I thought they were brown. You are so lucky to have a family and one that you love so much. Thanks for visiting me and sharing your desk.

I wish you were near so I could give you an oak tree as the pesky squirrels keep planting acorns all over my garden and so I'm forever pulling up unwanted seedlings. I do try to home them... the seedlings, I mean not the squirrels!! Best of it is that there isn't an oak to be seen nearby so they must travel!

I find it quite freeky that we often write about the same things on WOYWW. This week seems to be family appreciation week.
Busy desk.

Those acorns look very cool -- as do your papers. Can't wait to see the ATCs you make (if that's what you decide to do).

Thanks for visiting me already - work is getting in the way today....
